The Austrian Curling Association mourns the passing on July 3, 2010 of Mr. Günther Hummelt, ex- and Honorary President of the World Curling Federation who died peacefully after short yet severe illness.

With Günther Hummelt we do not only lose a President, who has been in this office since the foundation of the Austrian Curling Association, but above all we lose an unforgettable person and a wonderful friend.
